You might recognize the Weerasuriya twins from the MOMS Club Newport Beach events . . . I'd never seen them smile until we did their family Christmas photos. In order to catch them in their best moods, we scheduled the shoot in their home, right after they ate lunch, and they were all smiles!

Moms of 2005 Family Beach Portraits

After partnering with Moms of 2005 for a couple successful Photo Play Dates, we joined forces again to offer a great deal on family beach portraits. The shoot was at Aliso Beach in Laguna, one of the few beaches in Orange County where you can legally do professional portrait photography, and it showed . . . there were tons of photographers out that day! With a lot of patience, some very precise camera work and as little Photoshopping as possible, I managed to hide anywhere from 5-10 other photo shoots (not to mention a few skimboarders, fishermen and neverending flow of passers-by) behind my subjects in most of the photos you are about to see. Aside from the challenging distractions, it was an otherwise perfect day - 73 degrees, lots of sun, light wind and some really great company.
